As a Field Scout, you will independently monitor crop conditions, collect field data, and support agronomic decision-making using modern tools like FarmQA and drone imagery. This role is ideal for candidates with prior scouting experience who are comfortable working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine field scouting visits
- Identify pests, diseases, and crop stress
- Collect soil and plant samples
- Record data using mobile apps (FarmQA)
- Assist with drone data collection
- Maintain communication with Lead Agronomist
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of crop scouting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using digital tools
Compensation
- $24–$35/hour
- Potential eligibility for company truck & ATV

The Associate Field Scout is an entry-level, hands-on training role designed for individuals looking to gain real-world experience in agriculture. This position primarily works alongside the Lead Agronomist and Field Scout, assisting with field visits and learning scouting protocols.
This role is not expected to work independently but may take on limited responsibilities as proficiency increases.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with in-field scouting and data collection
- Support soil and plant sampling
- Learn pest, disease, and crop identification
- Help with equipment setup and daily field operations
- Record observations under supervision
Qualifications
- Interest or background in agriculture or plant science
- Willingness to learn and work outdoors
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation
- $15–$17/hour
- Training and mentorship provided
